Getting Started: Import Existing Contacts
If you already have a list of students or clients, import them in bulk from a CSV file.
- Prepare a CSV with a header row (for example: First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone). Clean up blank rows and make sure phone numbers are in a consistent format.
- Go to Contacts and click the Import Contacts option (or the three-dot menu → Import).
- Upload your CSV file.
- Map each CSV column to the matching ResQEngage field. Unmapped columns can be skipped or mapped to custom fields.
- Optionally add a tag to everyone in this import (for example, "2026-spring-import") so you can find or action them later.
- Confirm and start the import. Larger files process in the background.
Tip: tagging an import makes it easy to add the whole group to a workflow or smart list afterward.
