Connecting Zoom to CPR Enroll

CPR Enroll can automatically create a Zoom meeting for every virtual (online) class and include the join link in the class details and the student enrollment emails — so you never have to create Zoom links by hand. This guide explains how to add (connect), use, and remove (disconnect) the Zoom integration.


What the integration does

  • When you schedule a virtual/online class, CPR Enroll creates a scheduled Zoom meeting on your connected Zoom account.
  • The Zoom join link is added to the class and included in the enrollment confirmation email sent to students.
  • Instructors and students join the class with one click from CPR Enroll or from their email.

The integration only creates meetings on your account. It does not access recordings, meeting content, chats, or participant data.


Before you start

  • A CPR Enroll account with administrator access to your organization.
  • A Zoom account (the account that will host your class meetings).


1. Adding (connecting) the Zoom app

  1. Sign in to CPR Enroll.
  2. Go to Settings → Integrations.
  3. In the Video Meeting section, select Zoom.
  4. Click Connect with Zoom.
  5. You'll be redirected to Zoom. Sign in to the Zoom account you want to use.
  6. On the authorization screen, review the requested permission and click Allow.
  7. You'll return to CPR Enroll, where the card shows "Zoom connected" with the account email.


2. Using the integration

  • Automatic meetings: create/edit a class, set its type to Virtual / Online, and save — a Zoom meeting and join link are created automatically.
  • Where the link appears: on the class page (Start Class / Join Class) and in the enrollment confirmation email.
  • Joining: the instructor opens the class and clicks Start Class → Join Zoom; students click the link in their email.
  • Optional: Generate / Regenerate meeting link; Send invite to all students.


3. Removing (disconnecting) the app

  • In CPR EnrollSettings → Integrations → Video Meeting → Zoom → Disconnect and confirm. New virtual classes will no longer get a Zoom link.
  • In Zoom (to fully revoke)sign in to marketplace.zoom.us → Manage Added Apps → find the CPR Enroll app → Remove. This revokes the access token.


Permissions used

A single permission — create/manage meetings (meeting:write) — used only to schedule class meetings on your behalf. No recordings, meeting content, or participant information is accessed.
