Pulse Leaderboards and Anonymous Handles

Leaderboards let your organization compare its Pulse activity with other CPR Enroll organizations. Participation is optional and off by default.

Before You Begin

  • Pulse must be enabled before leaderboards are available.
  • Decide whether you want to appear under your real organization name or an anonymous handle. Stay anonymous is on by default.
  • Set your Anonymous handle before joining, so your first appearance on the boards uses the name you want.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Join the Boards

  1. Go to Pulse > Pulse Settings.
  2. Turn on Join leaderboards. The helper text reads “Compare with other organizations (anonymous by default).”
  3. Click Save.

Until you do this, the Leaderboards tab shows the banner “Your organization is not on the boards. Turn on ‘Join leaderboards’ in Pulse settings to compete.” You can still see who is ranked; you simply are not listed.

Step 2: Choose How You Appear

Stay anonymous is on by default and controls how your organization is labelled on public boards.

  • On — your organization appears under the Anonymous handle you set in Pulse Settings.
  • Off — your organization appears under its real name.

Edit the Anonymous handle field and click Save to change your display name at any time.

Rising Star is the board to watch when you are small. It measures momentum rather than absolute size, so a new organization can rank well on it long before it appears on My Tier.

Best Practices

  • Set the anonymous handle first, join second. Changing it later is easy, but your first appearance is the one people notice.
  • Leave Stay anonymous on until you are comfortable with your position on the boards.
  • Use Rising Star for internal motivation and My Tier for benchmarking against comparable organizations.
  • Remember you can view the boards without joining them — useful for seeing the landscape before you commit.
