What Are Instructors (in CPR Enroll)?

Modified on Fri, 1 Mar, 2024 at 6:09 PM

Initially, you might think this question is obvious, but bear with me for a moment; understanding it will spare you hours of frustration.

Firstly, CPR Enroll distinguishes between two types of instructors: "staff" instructors and "entrepreneurial" instructors. A "staff" instructor, as indicated in the menu, refers to an individual employed by or contracted with the company. They possess the capability to manage classes and students but lack the authority to create new courses, process payments, or sell products.

The second category comprises "entrepreneurial" instructors, who teach either independently or employ staff instructors within their business framework. We term this collective entity an "Instructor Group" (IG).

Why is this differentiation crucial? An Instructor Group can establish connections or, in AHA terminology, "alignments," with other groups. This enables collaborative actions such as purchasing IG products (e-cards, annual renewal dues, merchandise, etc.) and submitting necessary paperwork, all while minimizing administrative burdens for group administrators.

Why was this structure chosen? Because this software is uniquely tailored for instructors! While it effectively assists large organizations in managing instructor alignments and oversight, its primary aim is to serve as a straightforward tool empowering instructors to enhance their life-saving endeavors, capturing, nurturing, and retaining more business opportunities efficiently.
