How to Setup Custom Registration Questions

Custom Registration Questions let you collect additional information from students during enrollment — employer name, employee ID, dietary needs, waiver confirmation, or anything else your training programme requires. Questions can be required or optional and can apply to all courses or specific ones.


Creating a Question

  1. From the sidebar, go to Enrollments.

  2. In the Enrollments section sidebar, click Enrollment Settings.

  3. Click the Registration Questions tab.

  4. Click + Add Question.

  5. Select a Question Type:

  • Text Box — open-ended short text

  • Radio Buttons — single choice from a list

  • Checkboxes — multi-select from a list

  • Dropdown — single choice from a dropdown

  • File Upload — student uploads a document

  1. Enter the Question Text.

  2. Set Max Input Length for text box questions if needed.

  3. Toggle Required ON if the student must answer before completing registration.

  4. Toggle Active ON to make the question live.

  5. In Apply to Courses, select specific courses or leave blank to apply to all.

  6. Click Save.



Viewing Student Answers

  1. Go to Enrollments > List view.

  2. Click an individual enrollment to open its detail view.

  3. Custom question answers appear alongside the standard enrollment fields.


✔  Export for pre-class prep

The Enrollments Export includes custom question answers. Export before class to review dietary needs, equipment requirements, or employer data without opening each enrollment individually.
