1. If you have not signed up for a CPR Enroll account yet now is the time!!! Let us know if you need some help. Sign up at https://cprenroll.com.
2. Navigate to your Instructor Record (click edit record) and verify that your name, Training Center, and Training Site match the dropdown boxes on the AHA Add New Class form precisely.
3. Update the courses with the proper AHA Course Name mapping. This allows you to use your course name on your website which does not have to match the course name on AHA so that you can add detail (i.e. Your Course Name = BLS Skills ONLY Session Part 3 / AHA Course Name = BLS Skills Session)
Steps:
From the CPR Enroll Dashboard you will see the Course. Click Manage. It is below Location and above Add-Ons.
Click “Add New”. It has the green font at the left of “Set Course Display Order” below “Registration Questions”.
Your screen should be the one below and make the necessary edits. You could also watch the GIF below for more guidance.
4. Finally, update your classes to toggle to "Allow AHA Export" to ON. This will allow the list to populate the information needed.
Steps:
Click the classes at the Left Tab of CPR Enroll. It is below the Dashboard Tab and above the People Tab.
- Click on “Add Class” It has a green font and beside “Export CSV”.
5. Make sure the location has an address in CPR Enroll. If you don't, the connector will send an error and you will need to enter it. You can manage this in the menu under Settings >>> Manage Locations. Any "locations" you have in CPR Enroll that are NOT in the AHA database will be created automatically. Yay! Another time-saver.
Important Note: The AHA is unfortunately NOT as awesome as we are when it comes to creating things that work for instructors. Unfortunately, this means the FLEXIBLE and VIRTUAL class types feature is NOT compatible with the Class Connector. If you have flexible or virtual classes, the classes will not populate on AHA Instructor Network portal.
