Managing Student Enrollments

Modified on Fri, 15 May at 3:59 PM

While most students self-register through your public registration page, there are many situations where you will need to manually enroll a student — a walk-in on class day, a corporate client sending a list of employees, or a student who had trouble completing the online checkout. CPR Enroll+ provides three methods for manual enrollment.

Method 1 — Quick Add (New Student + Enrollment in One Step)

Use Quick Add when you need to enroll a brand-new student immediately. It creates both the student record and the enrollment simultaneously.

  1. Go to Enrollments in the sidebar.

  2. Click the + button and select Quick Add.

  3. Fill in the student's details: First Name, Last Name, Email (required), Phone, Address, Tags, and Notes.

  4. Select the Class to enroll them in from the dropdown.

  5. Click Save. The student is created and enrolled instantly.

  6. An enrollment confirmation email is sent to the student automatically.

Method 2 — Add Existing Student

If the student already exists in your CPR Enroll+ system from a previous enrollment, use Add Student to avoid creating a duplicate record.

  1. Go to Enrollments and click + > Add Student.

  2. Search for the student by name or email.

  3. Select the student from the results.

  4. Choose the Class to enroll them in.

  5. Click Save.

Method 3 — Bulk Import From Excel

For corporate clients or large groups, import an entire class list from a spreadsheet.

  1. Prepare a spreadsheet in .xls or .xlsx format with columns for First Name, Last Name, Email, and optionally Phone.

  2. Go to Enrollments and click + > Import Students.

  3. Upload your spreadsheet file.

  4. Map the spreadsheet columns to CPR Enroll+ fields if prompted.

  5. Click Import. All students are created and enrolled simultaneously.

✔  Avoid duplicate records

Before importing a bulk list, verify that students do not already exist in the system with the same email address. Duplicate email addresses may cause import conflicts or create duplicate records.
