By default, system emails go out from CPR Enroll. White-Label Email lets them come from your own domain instead, so students see your brand in the From line rather than ours.
Before You Begin
- Find it at Settings → Integrations & Connections, in the Email section — Email Sending Domain. Until it is configured the card reads Not set up.
- You need access to your domain’s DNS records — at your registrar or DNS host. If someone else manages DNS for you, loop them in now.
- You need a mailbox on the domain you own. A Gmail or Outlook address will not work.
- Allow up to 48 hours. DNS usually propagates within an hour, but not always.
✔ Nothing breaks while you set this up. Until verification completes, mail continues to send from CPR Enroll.
Step 1: Enter Your Domain
| Field | What to enter |
|---|---|
| Your domain | The domain your organization owns, without http:// — for example mycprtrainingcompany.com. |
| Send email from | The address messages will come from. It must be an address on the domain above — for example info@mycprtrainingcompany.com. |
Click Continue.

Step 2: Add the DNS Records
CPR Enroll presents DNS records for you to add at your domain provider. These cover SPF, DKIM and DMARC — the three standards mail providers use to confirm that a sender is authorized to use a domain.
Add each record exactly as shown at your registrar or DNS host.
✔ What the DNS screen gives you. After you click Continue, CPR Enroll lists each record with three columns to copy: the record Type (TXT or CNAME), the Name (or Host), and the Value. There is one row for SPF, one or more for DKIM, and one for DMARC. Copy each field exactly — do not retype it, and do not add your domain to the Name if your DNS host appends it for you.
Step 3: Verify
- Return to CPR Enroll.
- Run verification.
- The domain must verify before any mail is sent from it.
How long does it take? DNS changes usually propagate within an hour, but providers may take up to 48 hours. If verification fails, wait and try again before changing anything.
✔ Resist the urge to fiddle. Most failed verifications are simply early. Re-editing records that were already correct is the usual way a one-hour job becomes a two-day one.
Step 4: Troubleshoot the Three Common Problems
| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
| Trailing domain in the record name | Some DNS hosts append your domain automatically. If yours does, do not type the domain a second time. |
| An existing SPF record | A domain may only have one SPF record. If you already have one, merge the new value into it rather than adding a second. |
| Wrong mailbox | Send email from must be an address on the verified domain. A Gmail or Outlook address will not work. |
Best Practices
- Use a real, monitored mailbox as your From address. Students will reply to it.
- Screenshot your existing SPF record before editing it, so you can restore it if a merge goes wrong.
- Do this on a quiet day, not the morning of a big campaign — even though sending keeps working throughout.
- If a third party manages your DNS, send them the records verbatim rather than retyping them.
- Re-check the card after 48 hours. Not set up still showing means verification never completed.
Frequently Asked Questions
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Will email stop while I set this up? | No. Until verification completes, mail continues to send from CPR Enroll. |
| Which DNS records do I need? | SPF, DKIM and DMARC — CPR Enroll presents the exact values to add. |
| Can I send from my Gmail address? | No. Send email from must be an address on the domain you verified. |
| How long does verification take? | Usually within an hour, but providers may take up to 48 hours. |
| Verification failed. What should I change? | Nothing, at first — wait and try again. Then check for a doubled domain in the record name and for a pre-existing SPF record. |
| I already have an SPF record. Can I add a second? | No. A domain may only have one SPF record. Merge the new value into the existing one. |
| Do I include http:// in the domain field? | No. |
✔ You’re all set. Once the domain verifies, every system email carries your brand in the From line.
