How to set notifications?

CPR Enroll+ sends automated emails for a wide range of events — new registrations, enrollment confirmations, class reminders, and store orders. The Notifications settings let you control which events trigger an email, and who receives it: the admin, the instructor, the student, or a combination.

Accessing Notification Settings

  1. From the sidebar, go to Settings > Notifications.

  2. You will see four notification categories. Expand each category to view and configure its settings.




Think in Roles, Not Just Alerts

Before toggling anything on, step back and think about how your operation actually runs.

  • Who handles last-minute enrollments?
  • Who prepares instructors for upcoming classes?
  • Who manages certification compliance for corporate clients?
  • Who monitors inventory like key codes?

If every alert goes to everyone, people stop paying attention. If alerts are too limited, things get missed.


The goal is simple: each alert should trigger a clear action by a specific person.


1. Account & Enrollment Alerts

These are the most immediate and operationally sensitive notifications.


Account Registration
Notifies Admins when a new account is created.


Why it matters:
New accounts often signal incoming business, especially for B2B clients setting up group bookings. If no one sees this, you miss the opportunity to follow up or assist.



Enrollments
Notifies Admins, Instructors, or Class Coordinators when a student signs up.


Operational reality:

  • For low-volume classes, real-time alerts help instructors prepare early.
  • For high-volume or same-day bookings, too many alerts create noise.


Best practice: Route enrollment alerts primarily to coordinators or admins, not all instructors. Instructors only need visibility when it affects class readiness.


2. Reminders & Certification Expirations

This is where many training centers either build strong recurring revenue or lose it.


Class Reminders
Alerts Admins, Instructors, and Coordinators about upcoming sessions.


Why this matters operationally:
Missed prep is one of the most common causes of poor class experience. Instructors show up without rosters finalized, materials incomplete, or unclear student counts.

A properly timed reminder solves this.


Certification Expirations
Notifies Admins or Coordinators when student certifications are nearing expiration.

This is not just a reminder. It is a revenue driver.

Training centers that actively manage expirations:

  • Rebook students before they lapse
  • Maintain compliance for corporate clients
  • Reduce last-minute panic scheduling

Frequency Options:

  • 30 days
  • 30 + 60 days
  • 30 + 60 + 90 days

Practical guidance:

  • Use 30 + 60 + 90 for corporate or healthcare clients with strict compliance
  • Use 30 days for casual or one-time students to avoid over-messaging


3. Payments & Key Operational Triggers

These alerts prevent silent failures in your workflow.


Deposit Payment Reminders
Notifies staff when deposits are due or need follow-up.


Real issue this solves:
Unpaid deposits often lead to no-shows or last-minute cancellations. Without reminders, this slips through the cracks and impacts cash flow.

Assign this to someone who actively follows up. Not just someone who “should be aware.”



Low Bank Key Code Notification
Alerts you when your key code inventory is running low.


If you’ve ever run out of AHA key codes right before a class, you already know the impact:

  • Delayed certifications
  • Frustrated students
  • Extra admin work explaining delays

This notification is your early warning system. Treat it seriously.


4. Store Orders & Fulfillment


Store Orders
Notifies Admins and Fulfillment Coordinators when an order is placed.


Operational context:
If you sell materials, blended learning access, or equipment, fulfillment speed matters.

A delay here reflects poorly on your brand, even if your training is excellent.


Make sure:

  • Someone owns fulfillment
  • Notifications go directly to that person or team


Instructor Email Preferences (This One Is Often Misconfigured)

At the bottom of the page, you can control how instructors receive enrollment notifications.


Every Enrollment
An email is sent for each new student.

Summary
Enrollments are grouped into a single update.



Here is the operational truth:

If your instructors teach occasional classes, individual alerts are manageable.

If your instructors handle high-volume or back-to-back sessions, individual alerts become noise very quickly.


When that happens, they stop reading them entirely.


Recommendation:
Use Summary for busy instructors. It keeps them informed without overwhelming their inbox.
